we are looking for a motivated Blasting Operator / Metalworker In this role, you play a key part in ensuring that metal components are perfectly prepared for coating and finishing.
- A full-time position as a blaster with a salary of €16.93 - €18.36 gross per hour;
- You can earn a permanent contract after 19 months
- In-house training in blasting and overhead crane operation;
- 37 vacation days;
- Travel allowance and pension accrual.
As a Blasting Operator/Metalworker, you'll be a key link in our metalworking process. You'll ensure that metal materials are perfectly prepared for further processing or delivery to our customers. You'll work on a blasting installation and actively contribute to quality, safety, and efficiency.
Your duties include:
- Professionally blasting metal surfaces with various abrasives;
- Removing rust, mill scale, and contamination according to customer specifications;
- Checking surface quality;
- Placing materials on the track using an overhead crane;
- Bundling materials and preparing them for transport;
- Performing light technical maintenance on the blasting machine;
- Ensuring a safe, tidy, and organized workspace.
👉 No experience with an overhead crane? No problem! We'll provide internal training and certification.
Induction Program
You'll start with an experienced colleague who has worked with the machine for years and is now our internal trainer. He'll teach you all the tricks of the trade one-on-one over three weeks. This gives you the time and guidance to really master the process and work safely and independently.
Dayshift from 07:00 tot 15:45 uur.
